Speechless - Á Khẩu
In Vietnamese, A Khau can be translated as speechless. The photoshoot seeks to share the eccentric yet familiar visual of VINJA. This term is created to indicate fierce Vietnamese women being ninjas, which usually cover themselves in colorful and funky-patterned outfits. A Khau is a tribute to the VINJA for being strong, bold and so fearless that would leave bystanders speechless when being spotted on the bustling street of Vietnam.
This collaborative project was produced through an online photography session during the Covid lockdown in Vietnam, by creative director Pham Minh and photographer Anh Nguyen.
